Leather or textile children’s slippers for nursery?

Choose the material according to where and how long your child wears the slippers. Both leather and textile can feel comfortable when the length, toe shape and fastening fit properly.

Leather slippers

Leather can last well with suitable care. Its feel depends on the finish, lining and thickness of the particular model. Use a care product intended for that surface and let the pair dry at room temperature. Do not assume a narrow shoe will stretch safely into the right fit.

Textile slippers

Textile comes in many constructions. Cleaning depends on the fabric, footbed and adhesive. Only machine wash a model when its care instructions expressly allow it.

Fit matters more than the material label

After trying the pair, check toe space, heel hold and any pressure marks. Air damp slippers and change wet socks. Compare the model’s measurements with the size table. Material details appear with each pair of children’s slippers.
